Can I take you on a little journey?  

Down a long gravel drive along the banks of the Waikato River to a little patch of paradise. 

Greeted first by a couple of curious horses and then by a team of Jack Russell terriers, I get that sense of anticipation of a great adventure.  

Being shown around the farm sharing the back seat of the Range Rover with the matriarch Jack who I can clearly see is really the boss of the place. I think there were seven Jack Russells around over the wedding all tucked a nestled into their own spots. 

Miranda & Brent clearly belong to this place. 

There are so many special spots from the crumbling flax mill on the edge of the river to the vintage shearing stand, impressively still in use.

The horses all keen to say hello and seeming to sense the special occasion.  

And then it was off to the city for a beautiful Italian dinner (including nz whitebait of course!) for family and friends at Toto.
