…their wedding was super cool and totally real. it had spirit and soul and i just shot it totally intuitively and from the heart, i hope it shows. this is in the back seat of an old merc, but they also had a couple of old chevies too. will share much more in a little while.

Georgia + Josh @ Cable Bay Vineyard Waiheke Island Wedding

As you can probably see Georgia + Josh’s wedding was a very happy day! Their JOY was absolutely contagious. Loved photographing at the new and interesting Feron Hay House on Waiheke where the boys were getting ready… a little like something you might find in L.A. Actually Georgia looks a little like someone you might find in L.A. with more than just a little Hollywood Glam (though lovely and natural and fun too). I do have a major obsession with sparkly shoes and when Georgia mentioned she would be wearing Kate Spade shoes I had my fingers crossed it would be this very pair! Mariette + Dawid @ Everybody’s

And for a fresh take on a wedding…. Mariette and Dawid were married at the registry office on a Wednesday, a few photos around the city before the ceremony. After the ceremony it was off to to super hip and stylish new eatery Everybody’s to celebrate with drinks and dinner with a few friends. Don’t you think Mariette makes the ultimate pin up girl? The beautiful old cameras were Mariettes Grandfathers. A lot of fun was had by all.

You may recognize Michele + Dan from my website. I can barely believe it has been 7 years since I photographed their wedding. Happy anniversary Michele and Dan! They are still as gorgeous as ever and now have a family with super cute twins. Looking forward to our next shoot this week (fingers crossed for nice weather).

What a great way to spend your first anniversary with a lunch with family and friends, and then of course some photos to mark the occasion. Loved Danielle’s Johanna Johnson dress (she also wore a stunning Johanna Johnson for her wedding) The flowers by Viki @ Wildflower were perfect too don’t you think?
