This woodland forrest in the grounds of the Auckland Golf Club has to be one of the most romantic locations I have shot for a long time. A great contrast to the beautifully formal and manicured Auckland Golf Club itself. Nicky and Johan had quite a formal wedding but they themselves are so totally relaxed and fun and a little bit wild which made them an absolute dream to photograph. Don’t you think Nicky’s dress looks just incredible in the wildflowers and the woodland? And what about that car?
Wallace Chapman of fashion blog street and city photos and political show Back Benches married the very beautiful and stylish Tabitha Bryan in classic vintage style a few weeks ago and I was lucky enough to capture the day….
I have been photographing so many beautiful weddings over the last few months and totally have to begin sharing a few of them with you here on the blog. Cindy + Paul’s wedding at Mantells was a pretty glamorous affair and but also had tons of warmth, fun and laughter. Mantells is such a beautiful spot… every time I visit I want to move in and live there, do you think they would notice?
I love these guys… I’ve gotten to know them over a few years. Bumping into them at one of their friends weddings, photographing their engagement photos and then planning their own wedding. They are both gorgeous people in their own right but together they sure do have something pretty special.

Please excuse me if I gush, I got more than a little bit excited about this wedding. I absolutely love a bit of Art Deco style, and so when I went to catch up with Suani & Luke in the week before their wedding and found myself in an Art Deco apartment kitted out with Art Deco furniture I knew I was in some serious Art Deco loving company. Suani found her vintage gowns at The Vintage Emporium in Brick Lane.
