Off to Otago for a week

…to cycle the rail trail.  Looking forward to some wide open spaces and fresh air and the great company of my lovely family.  Back to my office on the 4th April so you won’t hear from me till then! Jxx /painting Colin McCahon/

Little Feet

Au Revoir

This is the lighthouse in Byron Bay which we get to say hello to in a week or so.  Off to Noosa for a week first, then Byron for a friends 40th Birthday.Wahoooo!  I will checking e-mail every now and then, but I will mostly get back to everyone when we hit NZ shores again. I’ll be back to photograph Louise and Clint’s vintage style wedding on the 30th October.  Also I have just finished working on Chris and Leah’s wedding at Highwic house & can’t wait to share those photos when I get back! The sun is out, you know what that means….

Hot fish and chips and cold beer, yummy!

Corrine Day RIP

One of my photographic heroes Corrine Day has passed away.  She made Kate Moss famous with her natural reportage style fashion photos

I am love

Being that I love food, Tilda Swinton and all things Italian it was really easy for me to love this movie.  I also managed to escape dreary wet old Auckland for a few hours.  I came out wanting to learn Italian, go to seafood cooking classes, and visit a field of long grass filled with insects, bella bellissima! Rugby World Cup Rental

Just in case any of you know someone who would like to rent a house during the Rugby World Cup in central Auckland!  Only 1KM from the Sky Tower in Freemans Bay.  Its a very peaceful spot with a courtyard garden.  I have set up a blog of photos here.  The highlight of the house is an amazing view of the sky tower while you are having a shower (with the lights off ha ha)

Morning Walks

My favorite was to start the day is walk through Western Park with Dion and Eddie (little big ear), a Dizengoff coffee, stopping to chat to all the regular dogs and humans along the way.  It feels like we live  in a village even though we live in the centre of Auckland.

Sisters…

For my last birthday my lovely sister Kate put together two whole albums.  One of all the times we shared together when we were growing up.  The other one was full of all the photos our proud Mum took of us wearing matching outfits she had lovingly sewn for us.  (Don’t you just love vintage photos) Thanks sis, I will treasure them!
