Friends totally surprised Mike the groom with a ride to his wedding in a classic Impala. Entire bridal party gets caught in a sudden downpour which luckily everyone thought was hilarious AND Danielle the Bride changes into traditional Korean dress for the reception. Pretty cool eh? Lots of fun to photograph.
Marc Jacobs turnlock clutch, gold snakeskin Jimmy Choos, Agent Provocateur… sigh. Joanna painted a fantastic picture of when they went off to purchase said ‘gold snakeskin shoes’… vision of Rob stunt cycling through London with a Jimmy Choo’s strapped to his back. What a gentleman. I have recently started using VSCO filters. Makes digital look like old film stock. I am loving it, what do you think?

Boy do these two know how to have fun. And it was my job to capture it! And FUN they did have… beautiful, high octane contagious fun! And yes it did include Bagpipes (a surprise for Lucy’s Mum) The joy that erupted once the bagpipes started was magic.
I’m always being asked who I would get to photograph my wedding & what I would wear. Well here it is!
Today I’m bringing you the wedding of the very lovely Louise & Belli who live in London and it wasn’t until a couple of days before their wedding that I got to meet them. We met up to location scout at Louises’ Aunties incredible house where her mothers pre wedding photos were taken. So the palm tree in one of the photos below is the same palm tree her Mum had her photos pre wedding photos taken in front of, just a little bit taller! I love referencing history in this way. I adore the original 1950′s decor complete with Sanderson linen upholstery too. I felt almost transported back to my Grandparents house, a childhood oasis of loveliness. It was a beautiful day and such a pleasure to be surrounded by such a strong sense of family and history. Louise & Belli you also have a lot of that gorgeous old world warmth charm about you and it was such an absolute pleasure to be your photographer.
Its been raining for about 80% of weddings so far this season, with one bridal party getting caught in a surprise downpour of which I have some fantastic and hilarious photos to show you (luckily they saw the funny side to it all) This is a photo from a beautiful wedding at Lavender Hill just before New Years. Just a magic moment I came upon. I love it when a Bride & Groom snatch little moments from the day to just be together in a quiet spot. So much more of this lovely wedding to share!
