I describe my style as ‘romantic reportage’, my photos are full of emotion and beauty, the unexpected and the delightful. I love capturing ethereal light and happy moments and I am always looking to capture the spirit of the occasion in a simple and beautiful way.
I like to create pictures and tell stories and capture the connections we have with the ones we love. I want to create photos that have heart and soul. Beautiful light, moments and emotion… these are things that never go out of fashion!
I’ve been photographing weddings for around 12 years now and I like to work in a way that allows you to relax have fun with your friends and family on your big day.

I love to start the day with a coffee and a walk in the park with my boyfriend Dion, Architect extraordinaire @ Studio106 Architect… and our Jack Russell Eddie.

Six years ago we had the wonderful experience of Jo capturing our wedding with photographs. To say we cherish our photos is an understatement. They are classically timeless, and by this I mean that we can look at them and we journey back to each beautiful moment she captured. The one thing, apart from friends and family, that we brought with us from Auckland was our wedding photographer, Joanna Wickham. I fell in love with her images the first time I laid eyes on them.
